Careers Media Affiliate Coordinator

La Red Hispana provides free information and educational content Latino US audiences can use to improve their lives and contribute to their communities.  Our distribution channels include 100+ Spanish radio stations in the U.S., Nuestra Vision on Pluto TV, newspaper columns, digital and social media channels.  

The affiliate coordinator will assist in the day-to-day execution of the company’s affiliate strategies. The role will include helping the affiliate manager identify those media outlets that can become potential affiliates to join the ‘La Red Hispana’ network, compile and analyze reports and perform optimizations. The affiliate coordinator will work in a small team with the ability to contribute to the general service in a meaningful way.


Core responsibilities:    

  • Set up new affiliate accounts, by seeking and developing new affiliate relationships
  • Conducte warm and cold calls to help develop new affiliate relationships
  • Obtain and manage creative assets
  • Maintain daily interaction with numerous affiliates via phone, Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, and email
  • Monitor and analyze affiliate performance to measure effectiveness, recommending changes as needed
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with our internal and external partners and stakeholders
  • Help to simplify and create new processes
  • Work with Affiliate Managers to update client forecasts
  • Assist the affiliate manager in coordinating media tours
  • Help track key metrics for client programs to ensure we are on track to achieve their stated goals
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of client requests
  • Answer affiliate inquiries 
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor



  • Able to work successfully in a team environment that promotes collaboration in addition to confidently working independently and leveraging resources at hand
  • Effectively communicate at all levels
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships interdepartmentally, as well as with those outside the team
  • Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Has a basic understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising
  • Detail-oriented and ability to appropriately manage time
  • Competent using Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task and work under pressure
  • Ability to be agile and succeed in, as well as enjoy, a fast-paced environment


  • Bilingual (English and Native Spanish)
  • Strong prioritizations skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong technical understanding
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
  • +2 years of work experience
