Employment: Part Time (ten hours weekly)

To be eligible for employment applicants must first go to www.hubzonemap.sba.gov and verify if their address qualifies as a “Hub Zone” census tract.  (Note: HCN’s funding for these employment opportunities is only for people who reside in low income economically disadvantaged neighborhoods as defined by the Hub Zone map).  

If hired, you must provide government ID or Driver’s License with your address qualifying for a hub zone. 


Part Time Jobs:  Researchers and Content Creators / Journalists   

We are looking for enthusiastic Students looking for an opportunity to build their resume while contributing to our mission: to improve quality of lives for multicultural communities in the US.  


Roles available  

Researcher: Build lists of non-profit organizations and governmental agencies that provide free assistance to people nationwide- with a note as to which ones have bilingual staff or services.  These lists will be placed on our websites and searchable by zip code and topic.  Some of the topics will be:  English as a Second Language; Domestic Violence Shelters; Home Purchase assistance; Immigrant Legal Services; Environmental Organizations needing volunteers; Scouting- Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc. Researcher may need to call each local group to verify it has bilingual staff and introduce them to HCN and its allies. 


Content Creators / Aspiring Journalists: 

Create/Produce multi-media stories for our websites and social media channels. We are looking for content in Spanish and English catering to Latinos in the US and Black/African Americans.
