Team Alicia Vigilblanco

Account Supervisor

Alicia Vigil Blanco is an Account Supervisor at Hispanic Communications Network (HCN). In her current role, she leads the earned media and public relations efforts for multiple clients, handling the day-to-day media relations tasks and collaborating with other account teams to support client requests and deadlines. Alicia is a bilingual communications and public relations professional with over 20 years of experience working for clients in the non-profit, healthcare, government and entertainments sectors.

Prior to joining HCN, Alicia served as an Events Specialist at a high-profile law office in Miami, running the events and business development for the partners and lawyers. Before that, Alicia was a Senior Public Relations and Communications Specialist for a healthcare company in South Florida where she was involved in several major projects, such as the launch of a new local broadcast channel, the opening of a new Cancer Institute and hospital and the management of a physician enterprise group of primary doctors and specialists for the organization.

Alicia holds a bachelor’s degree of Science in Communication with a specialty in Public Relations and a Minor in Political Science from Florida International University and a Master of Arts degree in Administration from Barry University, both located in Miami, Florida.

Alicia is married and has 3 daughters and 3 dogs. In her spare time, Alicia volunteers in her children’s schools and church and is a passionate activist for diversity and inclusion causes that highlight equality and human rights. Alicia served as Executive Secretary on the Parish Council Board of her church, making her the youngest female Hispanic member to ever serve in the church’s Parish Board with a cabinet position. In addition to serving on the Board, Alicia has held several volunteer positions, such as Sunday School Director, Senior GOYA Youth Group Advisor, Vendor Coordinator and Outreach Manager, supporting the social media and marketing efforts for the church. Alicia is also a member of the Public Relations Society of America and an avid planner enthusiast.
