Team Ana Saraí Peña

Chief Operating Officer

Ana Saraí is a Mexican American award-winning Multicultural Communications Strategist with more than 15 years of combined experience in all aspects of project management, communications and outreach for consumer, and partner relations for non-profit and government clients. With previous experience as a journalist, Ana Saraí is able to reach any audience and manage all communications efforts for a project from start to finish.

As the VP of Clients and Sponsor Services, she oversees all HCN clients/projects, timelines, metrics and reporting requirements. She also leads HCN internal teams and external partners sponsors to ensure deliverables are completed timely, effectively and cost-efficiently, while applying industry knowledge, insights, and strategy into Hispanic markets and cultures.

Prior to joining HCN, Ana Saraí was part of Edelman where she was managing account teams and multimillion-dollar projects across government and private sector clients worldwide. Her portfolio also includes working at Ogilvy where she was managing federal accounts, supporting corporate clients, and co-leading the multicultural DC practice.

Ana Saraí’s previous experience includes working with international clients such as the Embassy of Ecuador in Washington, D.C., the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)-Yasuní-ITT Initiative, the Qatar Foundation (Latin American Programs), the Polyphony Foundation (Middle East peace program), Autism Speaks, and the World Health Organization.

Ana Saraí holds a B.A. in Communication Studies and Journalism from the University of Texas at El Paso and a Master’s in Studies of Law for Journalists from Georgetown University.
