Careers Partnerships Lead

Employment: Full Time
Location: Washington DC or Remote

HCN seeks a Partnerships Lead to navigate and drive our efforts in developing and activating a robust network of Hispanic/Latinx and Multicultural (Black/African American, Native American, Asian, NHOPI and MENA) serving organizations and trusted leaders on national, state, regional and local levels who share our mission: To address health equity and social determinants of health (safety, financial literacy, climate/environment, education, workforce development, immigration and civic engagement) in ways that improve quality of life.

Our Partnerships Lead is a natural and charismatic relationship builder. You thrive on developing and cultivating connections with partners who work with, serve, and are part of the multicultural communities they serve on the ground. You have the ability to recruit, engage, retain, grow and mobilize active partners long-term.

As HCN’s Partnerships Lead, you will oversee our two on-the-ground networks: 1) stakeholders, including community- and faith-based organizations, civic, special interest and advocacy groups; and, 2) health workers, such as healthcare providers (doctors, nurses, allied health workers) and community health workers. Our goal is to position HCN and our nonprofit sister organization as the go-to resource for stakeholders and health workers seeking to enhance their own outreach and community service programs.

You will be responsible for formalizing and growing our stakeholder and health workers networks, and ensuring we are providing a regular cadence of services to partners that are mutually beneficial. When specific initiatives and opportunities arise with our sponsors — which are typically funded by government, nonprofit, philanthropy and private sectors who support our mission – you will also be involved in strategy, planning, community engagement, partnership building, fundraising support, program implementation, and outcomes measurement. Working together with our extended team across HCN and our sister 501c3 nonprofit organization, World Voices Media, you will activate our partners via organic and paid efforts in ways that align with each partner’s own mission, and manage each partnership by monitoring, tracking and reporting on qualitative and quantitative performance to gauge how well we are collectively fostering positive impact in the Multicultural communities we serve.
